What our Kaiako (teachers) do:
Observing and monitoring each child’s development is an important tool to ensure that our tamariki meet their developmental milestones. Our Kaiako (teachers) will be documenting and assessing children’s learning through a format that encourages individual planning of children’s journey. Our Kaiako will be supporting and encouraging children, their parents and whanau to contribute to our programme. Open communication with parents and families is very important so that we build positive and reciprocal relationships with our whanau.
